Halfway through the year!

Hey there, how are you?

I'm having a bit of a week, which is why for the first time this newsletter is dropping after the end of the month, but you probably wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't said, eh.

So what's been going on? Can you believe we're halfway through the year already? 🤯

If I'm totally honest, the start of the year was a bit rocky, with some uncertainty about the direction of the business, but over the past few months I know where we're going and I'm genuinely excited to get into this second half of the year.

And... we joined Taki Moore's coaching program this month and feel like we're making a solid plan with a coach who I've admired for years. He's actually a client of mine, I've helped him several times with Ecamm. Plus, I've been loving his YouTube content recently.

Ok, let's get into it, first up, my:

Three new clients!

Since last month I've taken on three new clients, one here in Cyprus, and two in Florida. Three different clients, three different needs; two will be done in person, one remotely.

Shopping Nightmares

For my client in Cyprus, I've been logged into his Amazon account and ordering everything for him, and it's given me such an appreciation of how frustrating it can be ordering equipment from Amazon, certainly in somewhere like Cyprus when we have to order from another country (Germany). It's expensive and takes too long and several times the orders got cancelled because of the amount we were buying.

Thankfully for the clients in the US, they have B&H and it's a dream just giving them a wishlist and knowing they'll be in good hands. I did actually reach out to B&H to see whether they could ship to Cyprus but it started to get way too much.

Something we've recently started using is a nifty little 3D modelling tool. It's allowed us to take a client's dimensions and photos and not only create a 3D model of the room, but it's so good for making sure everything fits. Here's an example of one room. The tool is limited, so I can't change the colour of the panels, but it really helps both me and the client see what we're putting together.

I'm actually finalising the equipment list for this studio today, and again, being able to see it in 3D helps me think of all the equipment and accessories I'll need. (Yes, there are no monitors on the desk; they're being mounted on the wall, with a camera and teleprompter in between.) This one's going to be fun!

I look forward to bringing you more examples and stories each month.

If you're interested in this service, head over to our sales page and book a call. I'm only taking 3 per month and booking now for August.

Find out more about a Studio Build

Just wow...

Last Thursday, on our IMPACT hangout, one of my clients showed up and we all just went, wow, that looks amazing!

Sorry about the low-resolution recording from Kajabi

My client went on to say that she is not at all technical but she followed the videos in IMPACT, bought the required equipment, and set it up to create this stunning result!

Don't tell anyone but that back wall is actually wallpaper, not real panelling. Isn't it effective!

So while on one hand I'm offering very exclusive done-with-you studio builds, my core program IMPACT is still going strong... and absolutely working! 🥰

If that's more realistic for you, please head over to the website for details.

Ok, now over to Owen for some YouTube news...

Hey, Owen here!

There weren't really any relevant or major YouTube Updates this month however, I thought I would use this section to mention that ChatGPT has gotten much better at image generation and keeping your likeness from one image to the next.

Now I don't think that this is ready to be used for creating thumbnails as a whole, as while it's better than it was, I still find it quite a hit-or-miss experience. For example, I find my likeness is easier to replicate than Adrian's.

If you keep an eye on our channel, you may spot that I am a/b/c testing with some AI versions and honestly, some of them are performing well.

While the generation can be inconsistant I find that the biggest issue with AI generated thumnails is actually more to do with the mindset, as when I'm creating with AI I find that I catch myself slipping into expecting it to do too much, whether that's the entire generation or actually where the idea lies is the ideation, now this may be specific to those who have spent hours studying thumbnails and the psychology as to why they work but that's something that ChatGPT just isn't quite ready for.

So personally, I'm using this to change facial expressions, locations or crops of an image and then I'm taking them into my designer of choice (Affinity) and doing the rest manually from there.

Now back to Adrian...

Ecamm Live Academy is coming back!

Yes, the 'Live' part is being dropped as Ecamm officially changed the name from 'Ecamm Live' to 'Ecamm' a few months ago. A wise move, as everyone just called it Ecamm anyway.

...but it does mean we need to go through EVERYTHING and change all the names on our pages and programs 🤦

Hmm... although this means we could call our live cohorts Ecamm Academy Live 🤔

I'll run that past the team and either way, whatever the new name is, we'll be back for our next live event in August, from 10th to 21st.

If you're new to Ecamm or want a kickstart, these live cohorts are fantastic. I'll bring you more details next month but put the date in your diary and if you want to get a head start, you can buy the training now and we'll notify you when we have details for the live event.

Well… I think that’s it for another month. By the next newsletter I'll have completed at least two of those studio builds, so I'll have more examples and behind the scenes tours to share with you.

As ever, if we can help in any way, just hit reply.

See you next month, here's to a great second half! 💪

This is what I want to do more of!
Hey there, how are you?  What a weekend we just had in the UK, the weather was hotter here than in Cyprus, which I enjoyed rubbing in to our neighbours out there. They quickly came back and reminded me that I don't have a 30 metre swimming pool in my garden here though. Fair. 😂 So what is it I want to do more of? In-person Studio Builds!  Remember I said back in March about that client who ca...
I got to speak on stage last week!
Hey there, how are you?  The sun is out, flowers are starting to appear in my garden, the days are getting longer, and I don't need to wear more than a t-shirt. So I'm happy!  And I just had a big breakthrough... I spoke on stage!    Now some of you will assume I'd already done this, and some won't think this is a big deal for me, but it was. When I sit in front of my teleprompter and delive...
From YouTube Viewer to VIP Client
As we wrap up the first quarter of 2026, I have to say, it’s exceeded my expectations. We’ve just wrapped up another fantastic Ecamm Live Academy. 11 new members joined IMPACT, so we’re deep into studio builds. I flew out to Canada to build a client’s studio. And we’re about to finish our first high-ticket Remarkable cohort… with incredible results. But the most exciting thing? Seeing YouTube...
