Well, this definitely turned into a month for change!
Like what?
Well, we're completely rebuilding and super-sizing our IMPACT program. To accomplish this and offer all we plan to, Owen has agreed to pause his YouTube training to come and co-lead IMPACT with me. And then there's our Ecamm Academy...
I started Ecamm Academy back in 2019, when it was just Ken & Glen, the founders, with Midori as customer support. Katie came on board about the same time as I started, so things were much smaller. No training videos, no YouTube channel, no big team.
The academy became a lifesaver for many Ecamm users over the following years, and it was honestly the best thing that ever happened to our business. We continued running it twice a year, and it has now been attended by over 2,500 Ecamm customers!
But things change.
Katie and I sat a few weeks back and agreed that it was time to bring the academy to an end. It has been fantastic, but it seems slightly obsolete now in the current Ecamm business, and it doesn't really fit us either as we lean heavily into studio building.
So... the 20th Academy, which starts 10th August 2026, will be our last ๐ข
And we want it to go out on a high!
We're planning on making this our BEST academy ever!
I'll be emailing out with more details in the next few days, but if you're one of those 2,500 who have been through previously, it would make my day to have you join us again for this final celebration ๐

I'm feeling quite emotional just writing this. I know I'll be a wreck on that final live, but sadly all good things must come to an end.

New Newsletter Format
We realised that the format of these monthly roundups will need to change too.
As there's no longer going to be an Ecamm section or a YouTube section, we feel it's time to change this newsletter too.
Going forward, I'll still send this monthly roundup, letting you know what's happened, what updates we've seen, and any new toys we think you'll be interested in. But alongside this, we'll be starting a separate 'IMPACT Insiders' newsletter, that will offer shorter, specific tips and tricks around studio building, equipment, and presenting like a pro. I'll explain more next month.
What else has happened? ...
New Studio Build
I mentioned last month that I was doing a studio build in Cyprus, so let me show you how it went.
We started with Moran's spare room...
Took his ideas and built a 3D model of his room...
Built it in a day... (including all those panels)
And here is the final result, a 2-camera setup...
From spare room to dream studio in one day! ๐

The two Florida projects are still ongoing, but I'll update you with their results next time.
