Greetings from Salisbury HQ!
How are you, and how has your month been?
I'm enjoying putting these monthly roundups together, they make me stop and consider what I've been up to, what changes and updates I've noticed, and what have been highlights for me, much like you'd do with a gratitude journal, although rest assured, I won't be getting that personal with you!
One huge wow moment for me this month was when I watched Nicky Saunders' ChatGPT Masterclass, (watch here).
I use ChatGPT for some pretty basic tasks, but woooah, I did not realise how powerful this has gotten!
She showed how to use ChatGPT to:
Create Infographics based on one you've seen and make it yours.
Create YouTube Thumbnails based on pictures or ideas that inspired you
Create Quote Graphics that look super powerful!
Create Flat Lays or Recipes that could be used as lead magnets.
All of these were done with simple Chat GPT prompts. And this is a tool we all have access to for free! 🤯
Now this feels like a bit of a cop out that I've just pointed you to Nicky's content, but I'm so thankful for her opening my eyes to all this, I just had to share it.
Well, let's move on and give you some other updates.
As you are a mixed audience, we've broken down our news into the following categories to make it easier to jump to what's relevant. Enjoy.
What have we been up to...
We mentioned previously that we were slowly moving our IMPACT, YouTube and Kajabi communities away from Facebook groups to Kajabi's new Community product. Well, as of now, all 3 communities have been moved and feedback has been good. Plus for us, it works seamlessly with everything else inside of Kajabi, which if you don't realise is the tool that our entire online business is built on! And actually, they are currently running a promotion that I'll mention below.
Owen and I are 100% focused on YouTube right now. Finding winning titles, scripting in a new format and recording as much content a we can. Playing the long game and going all in on YouTube being our top-of-funnel channel. We'll update you in a few months when we have more to share.
Ecamm news this month...
Back in March, during ELA LIVE (the live element of Ecamm Live Academy) we really went for it and had a blast branding up our slides and overlays, but in reality, I don't use that type of overlay for my Zoom meetings or lives.
So when Ecamm asked me to run an introductory class last Friday, aimed at beginners, I completely stripped things back and showed how to create a subtle name overlay in the corner of your screen.
That, is more typically what I would be impressed to see on someone's overlay, rather than bright, bold colours and rotating borders.
Paul came out with a classic line on the live... 'Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!' So true.

YouTube news this month...
With what I said earlier, I see so much potential to use ChatGPT to help us with our YouTube channels. From title ideas to script feedback to thumbnail designs, we have a YouTube master available and waiting to help us.
My daughter, who has an Etsy site, told me yesterday how amazed she was with how ChatGPT has helped her with her SEO. She was uploading her listings and it was suggesting better titles, descriptions and tags.
So how could you use it this month to help you?
Are you struggling to find ideas? Tell ChatGPT your avatar, tell it what you offer and let it help you connect the dots with topics you could cover. I'm not suggesting you let it write you out a script and copy it, but it's a fantastic assistant and you'd be wise to make use of it.
What about Leadmagnets? Our goal should always be to get viewers off YouTube and onto our email lists where we can promote our products and services. Can you think of helpful PDFs that would compliment your videos and be a no-brainer download?

Kajabi news this month...
We were excited to hear this month about the NEW Paywall for Courses feature!
What is it? Well, you can now select a section of your course and make it available for free (or low cost), like you might with a lead magnet or a mini-course. This is a powerful way for someone to check out your course before paying full price. When they hit the paywall, they get a message asking them to purchase the course.
We discussed it with our Kajabi affiliates last week and they were all pretty excited about how we could use this.
If you are interested in creating an online course, membership or community of your own, I highly recommend Kajabi.
We've used it for years and every year we seem to be using more and more of their features and tools, like this newsletter.
