Happy 2026! How has your year started so far?
I have to say we've had a great month, it's been really exciting!
And as the title suggests, we've made a massive change to the structure of the business. Owen, my son, who many of you know, is now heading up the YouTube side of the business, and is flying with it! I'm returning to my roots and dedicating my time to the studio building side of the business through IMPACT and our brand new program, Remarkable.
It was a major move for us, but a month in, we're both loving the structure and freedom to go deeper into our specialist areas.
It's certainly been an easy newsletter to write as we have tons of updates for you. Enjoy ☺️
Ok, I'm going first. I teased last month that I was launching a new program, 'Remarkable'. I was reading Daniel Priestley's book 'Oversubscribed', and he talks about being so good that others talk about you. That's being 'remarkable', and that's the promise of my new program. I'm guaranteeing that within 12 weeks, your videos will stand out so much that you will be truly remarkable. What a perfect name for the program! 🥰
It's the most hands-on experience I've ever offered, working in cohorts of only 6 clients at a time. We are 4 weeks into our BETA run and everyone is loving it. I can't wait to show you the transformations 😉

Oh, I nearly forgot, I changed my office around!
As part of my Remarkable program, I decided to create a workstation for my day-to-day work, and a dedicated studio area, featuring Elgato's new Prompter XL!
I love the look of nothing really on my desk, and with this setup, I can connect to my workstation, drive everything from there, but benefit from a lovely, clean setup.

This month, we kicked off the first cohort of our new YouTube LaunchPad Program and I'm loving seeing our members take the steps needed to start or revive their channels!
YouTube updates:
YouTube has been quietly rolling out changes to the home and search pages that appear to favour short-form content. This has made recommendations and rankings more competitive. At the same time, we’re also seeing more small channels being suggested, especially more recent videos from those channels.
YouTube hasn’t officially commented on these changes, but it looks like the algorithm is placing more emphasis on the content of your script, with how recent a video is also playing a bigger role.
Don’t let this put you off starting YouTube. I’m staying on top of these shifts and will keep our training and advice fully up to date as things evolve.
What’s coming next month:
To stay ahead of these changes, I’m running a head-to-head test between TubeBuddy, which we’ve used for years, and its main competitor VidIQ. The goal is to find out which tool is actually more accurate and more likely to help you get views.
I’ll share the results once I’m confident in the data, but this could lead to some meaningful updates inside YouTube LaunchPad.

Did you catch the BETA release this month? Ecamm now supports simultaneous vertical and horizontal livestreaming and recording! So if you're someone who wants to go live to YouTube and IG at the same time but struggled with the formatting, you're sorted. It even lets you change the streaming settings independently. While I haven't tried this yet, it is making me consider regular streams to multiple channels to see how well they perform. Also, you can record in both formats and change the crop or even camera for each format. That could be a real time saver for those of you regularly uploading in vertical.

Kajabi news this month...
Kajabi has definitely been under pressure over the past few months since increasing its prices. We've certainly noticed affiliates cancelling their subscriptions and trying alternative products, but I personally don't believe there's a better all-in-one solution available, and the new pricing structure actually gives us better value for money.
And yesterday, they introduced a really cool new product, 'CoFounder'. Here's how Kajabi are introducing it:
'Cofounder interviews you like a real co-founder would... helping you figure out what to build, how to talk about it, and how to price it. Think of it as a new way to build with Kajabi: same platform, but with a partner who knows your business and guides you at every step.'
I like the sound of that and will be giving it a try next week.
