How do you measure your year?
I’ve been reading The Gap and The Gain by Dan Sullivan, you may know it. The idea is simple: instead of measuring yourself against an ideal (the “Gap”), you look back at how far you’ve come (the “Gain”).
I’ll be honest, I’ve lived most of this year in the Gap. Always pushing, rarely pausing to celebrate. But looking back now, I realise… it’s actually been a pretty incredible year.
✅ We invested in high-level YouTube coaching
✅ Owen stepped up to lead his own training program
✅ I’ve built a brand-new product launching next month
✅ And we’ve spent 5 months working remotely from Cyprus
A few weeks ago, I thought this year was a write-off. But shifting my perspective has been massively helpful, and I wanted to pass that encouragement on to you.
So before we jump into the final updates of 2025, let me ask:
👉 What have you gained this year that wasn’t true 12 months ago?
It might be more than you think.

YouTube LaunchPad - Starts Jan 5th
Want YouTube to actually work for your business in 2026?
Owen’s brand-new YouTube LaunchPad program kicks off on January 5th, and it’s the clearest, most practical roadmap we’ve ever offered to help you grow a channel, reach your audience, and generate leads, even if you’re starting from scratch.
We’ve already got a brilliant group signed up, and only have 4-5 spaces left.
If building a YouTube channel is part of your 2026 goals, this is where I’d start.

Ecamm - Looking Ahead to 2026
It’s been another brilliant year of training inside Ecamm Live Academy, and we’ve now helped over 2,500 people show up more confidently with pro-looking live streams, videos, and podcast setups.
If you joined us this year, thank you! I loved seeing so many of you transform your scenes and show up looking like total pros.
No major updates from Ecamm HQ this month, but if you’re planning to make video a bigger part of your strategy in 2026, Ecamm should be part of your toolkit... as long as you're a Mac user. 😬
✅ The next Academy cohort will run in March 2026
✅ The full course is available on demand right now

Kajabi - A New Chapter Begins
If you’ve been around Kajabi recently, you’ll know it’s been a rocky season. Leadership changes, feature delays, and a lot of creators asking: “Are we staying with Kajabi?”
It’s a fair question, and one I’ve been asked regularly.
So let me say clearly: Yes, I’m staying with Kajabi.
And after reading the recent message from founders Kenny and JCron, who are now back at the helm, I’m actually more hopeful than ever.
They’ve been quiet on updates, and that’s intentional. Behind the scenes, they’ve been realigning priorities, rebuilding the team, and laying the foundations for what they’re calling “Kajabi’s next era.”
Starting January, they’ll be rolling out updates with clearer communication and a renewed focus on what matters: building tools that help real experts share what they know, without gimmicks, distractions, or shortcuts.

Kajabi isn’t perfect. But it’s still the most complete platform I’ve found to run a knowledge business, and I’m excited to see where they take it next.

Our new videos this month...
This video in particular was great fun. I was sent a heavy duty sit/stand desk from FlexiSpot in order to build a desk studio that would allow me to have the same camera position, mic and light whether I was sitting or standing... and not wobble through the screen! Sometimes I try these things then change back after, but this has become my new setup and I love it!

Coming up in the next month...
One of the things I’ve been working on behind the scenes is a new program called REMARKABLE, which will be opening in January. It’s designed for experienced coaches, consultants, and creators who already show up on video, podcasts, or Zoom, but feel their on-camera presence doesn’t fully reflect the level they operate at. It’s a small, hands-on program focused on upgrading both how you look and how you feel on camera. I’ll share more in the new year.
But for now, I’m closing the laptop, wrapping some presents, and settling into the joy (and chaos!) of Christmas.
As I said at the start of this newsletter, I’ve been learning to pause and look back, to celebrate the wins rather than focus on the gaps. And honestly, every one of those wins I listed earlier, I see as a gift from God.
So as we head into Christmas, I just want to say, in all the busyness, I’m holding on to the real reason we celebrate.
Jesus is the source of our hope, our peace, and every good thing.
And I’m incredibly grateful for that.
Wishing you a joyful, restful, and meaningful Christmas.
See you in 2026!
Adrian, Owen and Rachael.
