When I started this newsletter, I figured this monthly roundup would be easy to fill with updates and announcements from Ecamm, YouTube, Kajabi and ourselves. Hopefully I haven't done too badly, but this month... I'm struggling!
I reckon it's just summer and people have slowed down 🤷
I can't complain, we took a week off and enjoyed a trip to Northern Ireland to spend some time with my son, his fiancée and her parents. What a gorgeous coastline. I can't give you much by way of updates but here are some holiday snaps! 😂
Oh, and that's my Dad. I took him on a tour of the Arsenal Football Club for his 80th birthday 🥰

New this month...
I mentioned last month that Owen and I have been working on a new course called the 'Pro Studio Formula'. It should have been launched this week, but we've hit a major roadblock. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our editor has been unable to work for the past couple of weeks, and we're not sure when he'll be back.
We're confident we'll have something ready to share with you before the next newsletter!

New Toys
Oh, and to help me record the room transformations, I bought an Insta360 Ace Pro2, which works beautifully with my Hollyland wireless mics!
The image quality isn't the same as a camera but I don't have a lens that gets that wide, and for what it's doing, I'm really impressed.
It's been months in the making but I'm finally uploading a FULL 'Kajabi For Beginners' playlist onto our dedicated YouTube channel!

Ecamm news this month...
Not 'news' as such, more a realisation of how powerful Ecamm is.
No editing required!
I'm very conscious at the minute of our reliance on a video editor, and that's because our studio building content requires some skill to work with 3 camera angles, b-roll and dynamic design. In contrast, I recorded a 40-minute presentation for a virtual summit this month and do you know what, I recorded it in Ecamm and didn't edit a thing!
Yes, it took time up front to prep it and set up my 3 camera angles, but thanks to my streamdeck and Ecamm I was able to pull off something incredible... with no editing! 🤯
It's not going to work in every situation but if editing is your bottleneck and most of what you do is straight to camera, I highly recommend Ecamm! If you're not on it already, you can take a 14-day trial here.
