Life has a way of changing your plans!
Well, this has certainly been a month we weren't expecting!
If you read last month's newsletter, you'll know I was full of excitement about the final quarter of the year and everything we had planned.
And then life happened.
At the start of October, Rach suffered a brain haemorrhage, which was obviously a huge shock to us both.
Thankfully, she's received fantastic medical care here in Cyprus and has spent the past month resting, as instructed. We're heading back to the hospital tomorrow for an MRI and hopefully some good news. 🙏
All being well, we'll be flying home to the UK on Sunday.
It's certainly been a reminder of what's really important in life, and I'm incredibly grateful for the care she's received and the prayers and support we've had.
A change of plans for IMPACT
Last month, I shared our plans for the new IMPACT program, but after listening to feedback and looking at where the greatest demand is coming from, we've decided to put the next intake on hold.
One thing that's become increasingly clear is that more people are looking for a VIP experience, where we work closely with them to design and build their studio, rather than working through a course.
And I'll be honest, that's the work I love most! 🤗
So, for now, IMPACT is closed, and we're putting our full attention into bespoke studio builds. We're not sure when we'll reopen it, but we'll keep you posted.
New spaces, new studios!
We've taken on a couple of new studio-build clients recently, and something interesting has struck me.
Almost all of our studio-build clients have either moved house, renovated a room or converted a basement.
They've suddenly got a space they can dedicate to recording, and they want to get it right.
And what I love is that several of them have been following us for years!
They've watched the videos, seen the transformations, and now the time is right for them to create something of their own.
I love that. 🥰
But what if you haven't got a spare room?
Well, that's actually been my own challenge here in Cyprus!
We've always had a spare bedroom for when family come to stay, but I wanted to turn it into a proper office where I'd enjoy spending my days.
So, out went the double bed, in came a very comfortable sofa bed, and I've created a beautiful office space that I absolutely love working in.
And here's the clever bit. Within 30 minutes, I can take away the cameras and lights, turn the sofa back into a bed, and my desk doubles up as a dressing table!

It's worked out particularly well this month, as I've been able to work from home and be around for Rach while she's been resting, rather than heading off to the co-working office I normally use here.
One of the biggest changes I've made is getting rid of all the light stands and tripods. Everything is now mounted to the walls, which makes a massive difference in a room that needs to function as more than just a studio.
Take a look at this Reel where I show you what I've done!
I've also filmed a full studio tour, which will be coming to YouTube soon. So, if you're not already subscribed, head over to my channel so you don't miss it.
But what do our clients think?
I can show you beautiful studios all day long, and believe me, I will! 😂
But a beautiful room is only part of the story.
What really matters is what that studio allows someone to do, and how they feel when they sit down in front of the camera.
We've recently had a couple of lovely video testimonials from clients, and I thought you'd enjoy hearing directly from them.
This is Mark Wade, with his gorgeous studio in Florida...

And here's Moran Pober, whose studio we built in Cyprus...

It's incredibly rewarding to hear their experiences, especially knowing how much thought and attention goes into every build.
Could we build yours next?
We're currently looking to take on four more studio projects before Christmas.
If you've recently moved, renovated a room, or have been thinking for years about creating a proper recording space, perhaps now's your time, so you're up and ready for the new year!
And as you've seen from my own little project here in Cyprus, you don't necessarily need a dedicated studio room either.
Whether you're starting with an empty room or an existing office that needs transforming, I'd love to hear what you've got in mind.
Find out more about a Studio Build
Well, that's it for another month.
Hopefully, by the time I write the next one, we'll be back home, Rach will be feeling much better, and I'll have some more exciting studios to show you.
As ever, if we can help in any way, just hit reply.
See you next month!
